I can't believe that we are already here again! Time is flying too fast and I still don't know if 2026 is a great year or another meh one. But, at least I have my journals.

So, this year's collection did not make me too excited but that's fine, you can't like everything. Good for my wallet too! However, I really need a Weeks since it is my main planner so I chose the V&A one. I am not too in love with the design itself, but I like the color enough and I don't think you can ever go wrong with vintage royal stuff. I do not vibe with the regular colors this year, they are too bright for my liking.

As for the A6 cover, I’m still not sure if I am buying a new one. My green Only is not Lonely cover still looks great and holds my Techo well. Even though I hate how the elastic band morphs the top or bottom portion of the cover, I can still use it.

I still prefer a leather cover but again, the colors this year are not my thing. The Bordeaux one is fine. Though, no matter how high quality the polyester they say they use, it's still polyester and I am not a fan. So, this may or may not be purchased for next year.

I also have another prospect that is released last year. However, like my previous complaint, the material is not something I like.

I live in a humid country and this kind of material becomes slimy or sticky over time. Yes, I know the Only is Not Lonely is not actually leather but I never had a problem with it.

When it comes to buying stuff, I already trained myself to not pay for anything that I am not wholly in love with. I don't buy things that are just okay, I only purchase the ones that I know I will still love 10 years later. So I might end up not buying any covers this year. Which again, is great!

We do not need to buy new covers every year if the last one still works and still intact. Unless you are done with it, then go. But I also don't think you should settle for anything less than perfect.

Also, I still have 4 months to change my mind. Who knows what's going to happen to my life in that brief period?

So what is your journal line up for next year? Are you trying something new? Or are you sticking with the old but reliable ones?
